ONLY THE WEARER KNOWS WHERE THE SHOE PINCHES
I received a phone call today, “Loveen Gill? She asked,
“I heard about you on TV. The reason why I am calling is that we have fallen into a grave trouble. I don’t know what God is punishing us for. After Diwali, my husband has been diagnosed with a kidney failure and needs a transplant. And doctors have advised us that we have to wait for a kidney donor,” she said in great devastation,”
“He has been working for 12 years, and my older daughter has recently started college, and younger one is still at school, we are nothing without him. I don’t know why destiny has been so difficult on us; we don’t even mind paying for it.” She was in an enormous distress.
What could anyone say in such situation? I wished we had a bank where we had all these organs; we would have saved every individual who has been waiting for one.
“By the way, have you or your family members signed a donor form.” I asked her.
“No, we have been into such a trouble for the first time. What if I sign a form now, will get him a kidney.” She said with a great hope. She was still concerned about her own problem only.
